He groaned into her lush mouth and licked her full lower lip. The sound of her sweet gasp sent blood pounding in his head. He nipped at the corners of her mouth, trailing tiny kisses along her jawline to her tender little earlobe. The haze of her scent enveloped him.
“Open for me, sweetheart,” Tristan whispered.
Victoria opened her eyes. Her body quivered beneath his touch and he smiled at her lovely innocence. He traced her lips with the pad of his thumb.
“I meant your mouth, my sweet. Open for me.” He dipped his head down again and kissed her and his tongue entered the heaven of her mouth. The tip of her warm, silky tongue touched his for a moment. He flicked his tongue against hers. His whole body seized with desire.
Dear Lord, Tristan thought. She is untouched perfection. He was close to losing control.
Tristan pulled away from her moist deliciousness, fighting for control. Still holding her delectable body as close as the slight sway of the coach permitted, he leaned his forehead against hers.
“Oh my goodness.” Victoria touched her lips with the tips of her gloved fingers. Her luminous aquamarine eyes stared somewhat unfocused at him with a dazed expression.
“That, sweetheart, was nothing like I have ever experienced before.” The duke breathed into her ear. “That was a kiss I will never forget.”

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: I have lived, worked and played in New York City all my life. I am an attorney and have two teen-aged children and a husband who still doesn't get the world of romance. My passion has always been reading, starting with Nancy Drew then on the Rex Stout, Mary Stuart and other mysteries, but my heart lead me back to romance. After a long day reading legal matters and putting up with people’s annoying nonsense, I like a good, satisfying love story. I want my Happily Ever After. I see enough drama and unhappiness in real life.Other passions include animals and shopping. And of course I cannot live without my daily Starbucks.
I finally got up the nerve to put the pen to the paper (or the fingers to the keyboard) and wrote a Regency romance. Now I will look to see if I can get it published. I am currently in the final stages of finishing the second book, entitled "The Marquess of Secrets." I am planning four books in all and are part of a series tentatively called "The Band of Brothers". I love connecting with people so you can always find me on Facebook, Twitter or Pinterest.
