Penelope did not even have a chance to announce Ramennis, he stormed right by her desk without even a glance. He angrily thrust himself into Bast’s office. He had never been so pissed off.

When Bast looked up from her computer, she was surprised to see Ramennis standing before her in nothing more than just a pair of running shorts. Sweat was glistening on his sculpted abs emphasizing his six pack. His perfect chest was magnified by the way that the light was hitting his pecs. Bast was completely speechless and could have sworn her heart skipped a beat.

“You have nothing to say for yourself, seriously? Are you intentionally trying to destroy me?”

Bast had not heard a word that he said since he entered her office, she had been focused on appraising him. She had not seen a chest like that since the hunky actor, Hugh Jackman, in the Wolverine movies. Taking him all in: he stood about 6’3”, had a killer physique, smoky eyes, and wickedly sensual lips. He was mixed race, but it was clear that he had a Latin background. As a bonus he was filthy rich and would inherit a media empire. For once she could see why all women were throwing themselves at him. That is all women, except for her.

This man was her enemy no matter how damn fine he happened to be. The gloves were about to come off.

“Let the games begin”, she said sauntering toward him.
