Q&A WITH MATTHEW TALBERT FROM HENRIETTA BY SHIRLEY KELLY

WELCOME TO OUR HERO BLOG TOUR.
Join us every day this week and meet some very sexy Heroes from
New York’s Leading Romance Writers

HERO:  Mr. Matthew Talbert
Hometown:  London, England

Q:  Which do you prefer – baseball or football?
Matthew:  I must confess, I do not recognize these terms. If I had to wager, I would say they refer to some sort of game. Even by chance I am correct, I have no knowledge of the manner of play. Therefore, I cannot say I prefer one to the other. I would be happy to meet anyone for a game of shuttlecock or lawn bowling.

Q:  Do you believe in love at first sight?
Matthew:  If I had been asked this question before today, I would have said no. Love is found in fairy tales. It is not a prerequisite for courtship and rarely occurs within a union between a man and a woman. Recently however, I was struck by Cupid’s arrow. I now have no choice but to believe in “love at first sight”.

Q:  Does sex mean love and marriage?
Matthew:  Alas, for some, sex has naught to do with love and marriage. I myself can say with all certainty that I will never indulge in such behavior with a woman to whom I do not plan to promise my body and soul.

Q:  What attracted you first about the heroine?
Matthew: I was first attracted to her honey gold tresses blowing in the breeze.

Q:  If you have sex on the first date, would you respect your Heroine in the morning?
Matthew:  I would never have relations with a woman upon first meeting. If ever such a event did occur,  I would immediately procure a special license, or we would make haste for Gretna Green. Either way, we would be wed before days end.

BOOK SUMMARY:  The Duke’s eldest daughter falls in love with an unsuitable man. He rejects her love because he knows he’s not worthy. By the time he is, it may be too late.
