His arms tightened around her and his eyes turned a stormy gray. “Oh, yeah?”

“Yeah…” she murmured, staring down at his lips, trying to hold back a laugh. “You sweat a lot.”

He burst out laughing then pinched her butt, his bright eyes gleaming mischievously. “Well, I can’t help it, when you use all your best moves.”

She gave him what she hoped was a seductive smile and ran her fingers through his hair. “How about I show you what I learned the other night?”

Leaning down, she kissed the tip of his nose, enjoying the growing anticipation of feeling his lips against hers. Though she was eager for him, she continued her teasing and lightly brushed her lips across the edge of his mouth. She held her breath as she slowly brought her lips down to fully taste him...♥

The blood roared through her head. Her vision blurred as she dizzied from his confession. She nuzzled her cheek against his chest. She had to touch him. She rested her hand on his bare thigh. His muscles tightened under her palm. His swirl of dark hairs brushed her palm. She twisted toward him as much she could without toppling off the horse. He clung to her waist and dragged her against him. She claimed his mouth.

The raw, hungry kiss was not chaste. Their tongues melded. He tasted of water and of something that she loved. She buried her hands in his hair. Thankful for his hold, she melded against him. Her breast pressed flat against his firm chest. Any renitence vanished with his words, though it was easy for her to do. Lachlan was the man she loved and to be this close to him, to have her love returned only to reject it—nay, she lacked the willpower.♥

“She was dead.”

“Don’t let that stop you.”

He grinned. “That’s what I discovered I liked about you, Danieli. You serve it up straight. Back then, and now.”

“I’m a teacher. It’s a survival skill.”

“I liked you better than you think, you know.”

AN OPTIMIST'S GUIDE TO LOVE'S DESTRUCTION

I grasp the hem of his shirt. "Take it off."

"Take it off me."

Starting at the collar, my fingers open one button. Two buttons. Three buttons. Four—

"C'mon Grandma, it’s a bodice ripper." 

Finally, the hideous plaid opens, revealing a white, short-sleeved tee underneath. "How many shirts are you wearing?"

He smirks, wagging his puppy-dog eyebrows at me. "Count them."

I hook a finger around his collar. The fabric is thick and resistant. I take a closer look… "Three undershirts?"

"I don't share these nipples with just anyone." He removes the top layer. "Still interested?"

"Yes."

"Whew." He sheds the next layer. "How about now?"

"Now, I'm thinking you're horribly burned."

"If only I were that interesting."

"Last layer, buddy."

"Can we ever truly shed all our layers?"

"I'm strictly interested in the prudish nipples."

He peels off the final undershirt, revealing a tank top with black lettering. It reads, "Leave me alone, I'm having a crisis."

I flop back on the mattress, laughing. 

He stretches the hem, making the words easier to read. "How many arbitrary points do I get?"

"Take that off and I'll tell you."

He removes the tank; revealing a perfectly average physique—not too flabby, not too lean, but strong enough to pillow a girl's head,  if ever needed. But not tonight, of course. In the future. The way distant future. The way, way, waaaaayyy—

"How many?"

"That bought you thirty minutes of cuddling."

"When?"

Ugh! How does he do this to me? I cover my smiling face with my hands. "Tonight."

"Ooooo. Next time, I'll wear snow pants."♥

TO CATCH A FLAME

Frank grabbed Wendy by the waist pulling her back into the house and closing the front door and leaning her against the door as he gently pushed his tongue in her mouth, one hand caressing her face. Wendy was in disbelief and fully loving the moment. She slipped one hand on his chest and the other on the bulge in his front pocket. Frank grabbed both her hands, as he stepped back “Wendy, I want this more than you know. I just want to make sure that we’re on the same page.”

 

Wendy closed her eyes for a second and took a deep breathe, “What makes you think, I don’t want this just as much?”

 

“Enough said” he replied and quickly lifted her off her feet, taking her up the stairs. Wendy giggled like a school girl, she knew she was in for more trouble than she had expected but still she wanted it, she wanted it all.

 

Frank laid Wendy on the bed, then straddled her, he took off his famous white two button collared shirt, which he made look like a million dollars. As he pulled the shirt over his head he revealed his hairy muscular chest. Wendy licked her lips from top to bottom as she admired the view. She reached out to his chest caressing it again with both her hands. Frank proceeded to take off his clothing, unbuckling his pants belt and slowly unzipping his jeans, he gently got off the bed, dropping his jeans to the floor revealing his boxer briefs. Wendy sat up on the bed, “I’m next” she said putting her hands up in the air.♥

“Lauren!” Carla cupped her hands and yelled.

Lauren stood up, turning to face them.

“You Lauren?”

Their bodies were now flush against each other, her breasts tight on his chest, thighs rubbing together. Becca inched to his height, brushed her lips against his then pried his mouth open, her tongue plunging in with desperation.

His heart jumped to his throat, the act nearly cutting off his air supply. Lord, her mouth was wet, needy, hungry. In less time than Jaden imagined, he reached over and grabbed Becca at the base of her neck, his fingers entangled in her long hair. ♥
