1. Maria writes paranormal romances, mostly about wolves.
2. Her first book, THE LAST WOLF, was a RITA finalist in the paranormal romance and best debut categories.
3. She is a panster. She has a beginning, an end and a few scenes. The one time she tried plotting it ended in disaster. The characters fought her every step of the way.

8. She likes a medium level of sexual tension. She likes sex to serve the plot rather than the other way around.
