RINGING IN THE NEW YEAR by Morning Lee

50 SHADES OF SEXY BLOG TOUR
August 1 – September 20

Adele’s footsteps echoed through the room as she marched across bare floor. She planned to take the evidence of the trespasser to Ethan and demand he do something or…

All thoughts of where she’d threatened to place the glass were forgotten as she glanced down at the red lily on the desk. He had presented her with the flower after their first fight. At the time it had been a peace offering and declaration of his love. But, over the years, it became a promise of things to come.

Despite the bare floor, Adele did not hear the movement behind her. She was unaware she had company until a large hand covered her breast and pulled her against a firm body. Lips pressed against hers, cutting off any sound she would be tempted to make.

She did not know how he slipped past her to reach the library or where he hid until it was time to make his presence known. But, she did not fear the presence of the company who dared to invade her territory.

Only one person would have sampled the sweet bourbon she tasted on his breath or smoked the custom rolled cigarettes she smelled on his clothes. And that person was the only one daring enough to try and earn her forgiveness with over two hundred people wandering around the house.

  2. Quite deliciously taunting excerpt! I love the sensory description - the image of the red flower, the aroma of the bourbon and cigarettes, the titillation of possibly observation, the touch of his hand on her breast! All quite wonderful!
